I hate to post without pictures, so here are a couple. The first is a crazy quilt I have in progress. It's 1of 3 that I've used some of the same fabrics & colors. This leads me up to what I am working on for the Initiative challenge.
I knew almost instanly that I wanted it to be "about", but had no real idea of where I was going with it, or how I wanted to get there. I printed out some photos & text on fabric but that's as far as it went, until today.
After working on some small Xmas projects, I sat looking at my photos on fabric, stated pulling out fabric that went with the photos. Seems like I have a color theme going on here. Hmmm...
Suddenly had the desire to rip into my stack of fabric. Yes actually RIP it! Ahh what a fun & liberating thing to do. I had a nationally know teacher once tell me I should NEVER rip my fabric! Well phlibbbttt!! to her!
I've always enjoyed breaking rules that have no really good explanation for why they exist. So here it is, the of my "Initiative" piece.
Wow, Deb ... that's starting to look a little like part of mine!
