getting started on Communication
Well I started on my quilt using my standard process of doing some list making and mind mapping about the word. I found that with this word the challenge was not in coming up with an idea, it was coming up with a unique one. I started by researching the types of communication and then narrowed down my focus to non verbal. Once I got to that point I was able to narrow my focus even more and settled on an idea to create a quilt around. Now all that's left to do is create the actual quilt!

You are ahead of me Sue. I've been busy with a class, & customer quilting, bur have been thinking about communication. My biggest problem is the scope of the word is enormous! Not just thinking about trying to do something unique, but trying to narrow down the field to one type of communication. It really is a good challenge word!
ReplyDeleteThanks for that great article on communication, Sue. I've been thinking about it as I work on other things -- that's my method of creating. I'm not a sketcher, I'm a visual thinker. Meanwhile, I'm putting together a pile of fabrics and photos to consider for this piece.
