What I did all weekend

It's not done yet but at least now I know that I CAN have it done on time! Here's a sneak peek of my Communications piece.

Done! Fini! It even has sleeve and label.

However, unlike Connie Rose, I don't think it's my best ever. Wouldn't that be nice!

Interestingly I didn't think "communication" would be as difficult an inspiration as it turned out to be.

I finally started

And it's one of those that stare me in the face all the time! I can't believe it took me so long to see it. Now I just have to get it worked out on the cloth :)

Decisions, Decisions!

I don't know why this topic has been so hard for me. Must be all this white landscape I've been looking at since before Christmas. It froze my brain! Last night I started on my third Communication quilt top. The first two have ended up in my "totally ugly stuff I never want anyone to see" drawer. I think I'm finally on the right track ... I hope ...

I'm Finished!

Hot off the press, my communication quilt is finished! Can't wait for you guys to see it -- actually, I think it's my very best quilt to date!

Big News!

 

I've got an idea!  I'm hoping to start executing it today!  It may have something to do with the subject in the photo.  That's all I'm saying!

Ready for quilting

My 'communications' quilt is ready for quilting. Unbelievable for me that I would actually complete something early! Hope to have it done by Sunday.
