When I was planning "Environment" I kept thinking about things as a whole: planet, systems, interactions and relationships. As is my nature, I tend to focus on some minute detail and my thought about environment eventually settled on a blooming flower. I decided to do a complete kaleidoscope for this challenge and was a little surprised that this was my first one in the series! I wanted to make this one without star points and more like unfolding petals.
It is my favorite kaleidoscope to date but I don't like this 16 x 20 format so later this week, on my blog, you will see what becomes of this one.
WOW! This is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWOW! WOW! WOW! Vicki this is totally amazing! I love it! Can't imagine what you're going to do to improve it, but I'll certainly be watching!
ReplyDeleteVery cool, Vicki!
ReplyDeleteI think it's beautiful Vicki.
ReplyDeleteI hear what you're saying about the 16x20 format. That's the most difficult part of the challenge for me.
I love your kaleidoscopes, so this was perfect.
ReplyDeleteYou really have mastered the kaleidoscope. I love it!
ReplyDeleteit's beautiful Vicki! I gotta say I'm not loving the 16"x20" size either.
ReplyDeleteDitto on being thwarted by the size at times. That said, this quilt is beyond fabulous, Vicki!!! Reminds me of a passion flower on steroids (that's a big compliment!!!)!
ReplyDeleteWonderful kaleidoscope Vicki! This is the kind of art I could look at over and over and see something different every time!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors in this!!
ReplyDeleteThis is my favorite in your series. Amazing! I'm afraid to ask how many pieces are in there ....
