I love this time of the year (minus this snow!) when the leaves have fallen and I can see beyond the trees that snug up to three sides of my cabin. I spend a lot of time watching the birds, and the crows provide the greatest entertainment. They come together in this season in large, noisy groups. They hunt out each and every hawk and owl , and harass them mercilessly. The air show they perform each afternoon is a beautiful sight. Love my crows!!!
Although I think I said I wouldn't do this type of quilt again, I felt I needed a companion piece to 'Secrets of Old Trees.' I'm glad I did it. This one was much easier. Guess I got all the bugs out this time!
