Impression

I really had fun with this challenge. I just let it flow, & this is what I ended up with. I stamped textile paints on fabrics that I had painted, adding more layers & texture, then layered some of my own hand painted silk organza, & some of the woven grass & floral ribbon that I had also used for the stamping. After my free-motion quilting was done, I put the quilt over a canvas frame to finish it, giving it a very artful finish. For more details see my new blog  http://coldfeetquilter.wordpress.com/

  1. Deb, this is a really cool piece! I almost missed it since Sue usually posts first. So glad I didn't.

  2. Gee! I would have missed it, too, if it hadn't been for Judy's comment! Google goofed! Love it, Deb ... the texture, the colors, the stitching! Everything!

  3. I think why my post is at the bottom, is because I wrote it & left it in draft weeks ago. I thought I had scheduled it to post atomatically, but when I checked it hadn't done it, so I hit publish, & it was at the bottom. I guess I'm always some sort of problem!
