Continuity

Texture is a recurring theme in my work so I was very happy with Kathy's choice of themes for this last challenge.

 "continuity"
18" x 24"
Materials used: silk, cotton, fluid acrylics, rayon floss, Mistyfuse, textile foil

  1. I'd really like to see this in person!...translate that to I'd like to touch it which is naturally the response to "texture". Nice.

  3. It looks like copper, like it would be cold to the touch. Wonderful woven texture!

  5. I love anything with copper. This is no exception. I wish I could see it up close too. Is the silk over the cotton? It's really beautiful Sue.
