GARDEN OF HAPPINESS AND GRACE

I made this quilt for a Christmas gift which I just finished yesterday- so I am late as usual. The person I made this for loves blue, green and yellow so I used these colors from my stash to make this quilt. This quilt works for our requirements as well, just in 3 colors but lots of shades of these colors. I love lots of color so this was fun to do. I used the English paper piecing for the flowers and then machine pieced the borders and machine quilted the rest. It is a lap size 45" by 51". I put a quote on the back which I love and want to share it with all of you.

"Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude." Denis Waitley

  5. This quilt is amazing. I appreciate all the workmanship or is that workwomanship that you put into it. Amazing! My mother is still quilting at 94. I know the amount of energy you have put into this piece. Fantastic!
You asked what other classes I have taken online. I have take about five Jane Davies classes and some Juliana Coles classes. I wish Holly Roberts would do an online class. I love the way she thinks and creates. Do you know her work? http://hollyrobertsonepaintingatatime.blogspot.co.uk/ . She lives in New Mexico. If you get a chance, read her blog entries and get to know her.
